How to Upgrade

1. Open the Pricing page from the top bar.
2. Choose the plan you want.
3. Click Upgrade.
4. You are redirected to a Stripe checkout page.
5. Enter your payment details and confirm.
6. Your plan is activated immediately.

Managing Your Subscription

To update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel your subscription:

1. Open the Pricing page.
2. Click Manage Subscription.
3. You are redirected to the Stripe customer portal where you can:
   • Update your payment method
   • View and download invoices
   • Cancel your subscription
   • Switch between plans

How Credential Quotas Work

Each plan includes a flexible annual credential pool:

• Free — 1,200 credentials per year
• Starter — 12,000 credentials per year
• Pro — 120,000 credentials per year

A credential is one badge issued to one recipient. Whether you issue via the dashboard, the API, or a bulk CSV upload, every successful issuance counts as one credential against your yearly pool.

The pool is designed to flex with how your programs deliver: spend it whenever you like across the year, including in bursts — when a course or cohort finishes, you can issue many credentials at once, with no monthly ceiling. Up to 120,000 credentials a year on Pro gives you far more headroom than competitors' small annual caps (for example, Certifier's ~3,000 per year).

Your pool resets on your account's registration anniversary, on all plans (Free, Starter, and Pro) — each account runs on its own yearly cycle, and the count of credentials issued since your last anniversary is what's measured against your limit. Billing stays monthly ($0 / $9 / $29 per month); only the credential quota is annual. Unused credentials do not roll over. When you reach your yearly limit, new credential attempts are rejected with a quota error until either the next reset or a plan upgrade.

Already issued badges stay valid forever

Quota limits only restrict new credentials. All previously issued badges remain valid permanently — their images stay permanently hosted and their public verification pages stay online whether or not you have an active subscription.

What Doesn't Count Against Quota

These actions are always free on every plan:

• Creating an issuer (within your plan's issuer limit)
• Creating a badge class / template (within your plan's badge limit)
• Re-sending an existing credential by email
• Revoking or deleting a credential you already issued
• Recipients viewing or sharing their public badge page
• Designer time, image hosting, and verification URL access
