Appearance
Each issuer has a Branding & delivery panel where you control how its credentials look to recipients and how its notification emails are sent. These settings can be changed at any time — including on verified issuers, since they don't affect the issuer's verified identity (name, URL, email).
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Brand logo URL | An HTTPS image URL used as the issuer's logo on recipient-facing surfaces. |
| Brand color | The accent color used across the issuer's public pages. |
| Hide "powered by badges.ninja" | Removes the provider attribution from public credential pages for a cleaner, white-labeled look. |
Control the "from" identity of the emails recipients receive when you send them a credential.
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| From name | The display name recipients see as the sender (e.g. your organization's name). |
| Reply-to address | Where recipient replies are routed. |
| Sending domain | The domain your credential emails are sent from. |
| Custom credential domain | A domain of your own for recipient-facing credential pages. |
Domains require verification
Saving a sending domain or custom credential domain stores the value but does not activate it. Each domain must be verified via DNS before email is sent from it or credential pages are served on it. Until then, credentials continue to use the default badges.ninja domains.
Branding makes credentials feel like they come from you, not a third-party platform — one of the biggest factors in recipients trusting and sharing them. Combine these settings with a custom Certificate design for a fully branded recipient experience.
